Treatments

We ask all our patients to complete a confidential medical history form as the dentist needs to know of any aspects of your general health which may affect your treatment. If you require any help to complete this form please ask a member of our staff for assistance.

You will then receive an extensive examination of every aspect of your teeth and gums including a screening for oral cancer. This examination will include a cosmetic assessment and x-rays when necessary. It is our belief that the most important thing at this stage is that we listen to your concerns so that we can tailor a treatment plan to suit your  needs.

Treatment plans are always worked out on a preventative basis, and may include some sessions for preventative advice and treatment with our hygienist. The aim of this part of the treatment is to make your mouth healthy and so reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease. Written treatment plans are provided.
